To use the Contact softphone within Salesforce to make and receive calls:
Procedure #
- Log into your Salesforce account as usual.
Note: If you are logging in using the login credentials for your Microsoft user account, you must configure your web browser to allow the Contact application to use pop-up windows. You do not need to do this if you are logging in using your standard username and password. - Open the Contact application that is integrated in your account.
- Enter your Horizon Contact login details.

You can now answer calls using the Contact softphone within Salesforce.

Note: If you cannot see the Contact softphone within Salesforce, the following icon is displayed in the top-right toolbar:

and, when you try to log into the Contact softphone, an error message is displayed. This is because some web browsers block all third-party cookies and local storage access, preventing CRM integration. You will need to enable third-party cookies by following the instructions in Troubleshooting.
