When responding to an email, you can select either a pre-defined file or an ad-hoc file from your own PC (such as an invoice or a contract) to attach to your email response.
Procedure #
Click 1:
Make the email active (if it is not already) by clicking:
Step 2:
Click on either of the following:
To reply to one person
To reply to all
This opens a text editor with controls:
Step 3:
Click:
A list of the file attachments that have been defined by your company administrator is displayed. If no file attachments have been defined, the dropdown list is not shown.
Step 4:
To attach a pre-defined file to your email, select a file attachment from the dropdown list and click OK.
Any selected file attachments are displayed beneath the response text.
Note: Multiple file attachments can be added to each email response.
Step 5:
To attach a file from your own PC to your email:
- Click Upload.
- Navigate to the file that you want to attach, select it and click OK.Your file will be uploaded and added to the list of pre-defined attachments.
- Select the file from the dropdown list and click OK.
